The ConnectCore 6 Plus is manufactured with a United States of America regulatory domain in accordance to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations. By default, the regulatory domain cannot be changed, and 802.11d or "Additional regulatory domains" support is disabled.

Host product manufacturers using the ConnectCore 6 Plus on their own designs, and customers using the ConnectCore 6 Plus SBC outside of the United States can either use the default US regulatory domain when allowed by their own country regulations, or request the Worldwide regulatory domain add-on. This add-on includes firmware modifications and binary files that allow you to build software for other regulatory domains with full 802.11d support.

When using the US regulatory domain in Japan, and according to current Japanese regulations, channels from 149 to 165, both inclusive, should not be used.

Use the following form to accept the Software Control Declaration and obtain the Worldwide regulatory domain add-on. Digi will release the add-on to you via a secure distribution channel once the signature has been verified.
