DAL SignalStrength logging

0 votes
Hi

I am looking for the signal strength logging feature in the TX54 users guide.
In SarOs it was the "modemcc 0 ss_interval 1", but I cannot find such a config in the DAL guide.

Thanks
Gyula

Hi Gyula and welcome to Digi Forum.

On DAL there is not a similar option right now, but same info can be obtained if you use Digi Remote Manager.
On the router (config > monitoring > Device Health) you can set up Health metrics to be reported every 1/5/15/30/60 minutes (see also user guide: https://www.digi.com/resources/documentation/digidocs/90002357/default.htm#os/cloud-device-health-config-t.htm%3FTocPath%3DCentral%2520management%7C_____3).

If you expand the Data Point tuning section, you will see all the data reported, so for example, you will see under Network > Cellular, various data like signal strength but also RSRP, SINR, ect, that can be useful to monitor.

Once configure this, you will see the data reported on DRM (Summary Dashboard for each device, and also Data Stream values, available on Classic DRM view at the moment).
For more info on DRM see here:https://www.digi.com/products/iot-software-services/digi-remote-manager

I hope this helps, If you have any further questions, please contact us at tech.support@digi.com or visit our website to see Digi Support options: https://www.digi.com/support

Hi Anny,

thanks for your response.

Unfortunately, the cloud based RemoteManager is not an option at this customer. Only on-premises management allowed.
