how would the device handle a overloaded A record’ in a DNS entry

“‘how would the device handle a overloaded A record’ in a DNS entry. This is where a DNS record holds multiple IP addresses for a domain for purposes of service resiliency. The question is whether the on-board software on the receiver would allow it to access a second or third IP address in the DNS entry if the first IP address in the entry became unavailable”
