cc wi i mx53 i cant connect the target board

Hello, i am new with embedded systems, im working withe the cc wi i mx53 target board, i have been following step by step the command line reference manual to build my first aplication, my problem is that i cant connect the target board with the host throw ethernet. i dont know if i have to cofigure something.

Hello, Which operating system are you using on the board, please provide which document you referred?
May be the problem with ip address of the mx53 kit. You need to set proper ip address to the board.

I could solve the problem, It was that I was setting a wrong target ip address. Thank you for reply.
