Digi development on Linux development environment

0 votes
Hi,

I have been googling around to see relevant information on getting started with digi development on linux environment. We are considering to use digi gateway extensively for our energy solutions and I have just started working on the development side. However, I see that digi esp is available only for Windows and Mac. Checking the screenshots, it seems digi esp is some version of eclipse bundled with digi specific development toolings. I am still downloading the installation executable but I am so impatient and would like to know if Digi ESP is available for Linux environment (I'm on Ubuntu 15.04 fyi). Any help/direction would be appreciated. I saw somewhere ubuntu 10.04 can be used but I've not dived into details yet. Would not want to use such an old distribution on my development system. I could contribute in migrating and making the Digi ESP compatible to newer linux distros if I have some background information. I did see DEL but can not find download link (seems its only available as LiveCD)

Thanks!
