Can ConnectPort X4 sniff the ethernet?

I've got a ConnectPort X4 which is connected to a LAN but it appears to be connected to the wrong network or there is something else wrong b/c I can not ping any of the devices on the network.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to get a ConnectPort X4 to create a pcap file ? There is a way with a Digi WAN 3G (http://ftp1.digi.com/support/documentation/dcwan_packet_capture.pdf) I was hopeful there was something similar I had missed.

No. Unfortunately the python interface nor firmware will allow you a low enough level to sniff ethernet packets.

The Digi Transport line however does have this feature.
