Connectport TS vs EtherLite

Hi, new to terminal servers and am wondering the difference between these two product lines? They seem to do fairly the same thing.

Also, aren't these products simply Serial over IP devices?

Thanks!

The Etherlite supports serial over IP using RealPort. Has a limited UI using rlogin for debugging. IP configuration using bootp. Much older product.

The ConnectPortTS supports serial over IP using RealPort, encrypted RealPort, TCP/SSL socket, UDP, autoconnect (connection initiated by serial), ppp, modem emulation, etc. Has WebUI, CLI, SSL/TLS security, DHCP, python support for running programs, etc.
